1 liter of milk, 1 yogurt and half a lemon are enough to make the best homemade cheese

In order for the recipe to be successful, it is necessary to measure and prepare the ingredients well before starting the recipe.

So for the recipe you need 


  • 1 liter whole milk
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt without sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt to taste


  • Cotton towel

  1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. Cook for 15 minutes, then add lemon juice and yogurt.
  3. Stir the mixture slowly for a few seconds, then turn off the gas and let it sit for at least 3 hours.
  4. After this time, place the cotton cloth in a sieve over the mold.
  5. Pour the mixture through the sieve to separate the cheese from the whey.
  6. Put the mixture back in the fridge and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. After this time, add some salt and put it in the fridge for another 8 hours.
  8. At this point it is possible to consume this delicious homemade cheese.
