3 tricks to whiten laundry and remove all kinds of stains

It doesn’t matter how often you do your laundry: if you have white clothes, you know how difficult it is to keep them in their original color and “brightness” . After just a few uses and washes, the white laundry fades, not to mention the annoying yellowish stains under the armpits.

To whiten laundry, we often use traditional methods such as bleach, but these are also toxic and are inhaled during washing and come into contact with the skin when worn over clothing.

Below we suggest how to whiten laundry naturally and treat any type of stain on white clothes. These are simple natural methods that we can use to save money and protect our health.

Lemon and salt . To get rid of sweat stains that form especially under the armpits and collar, try the following lemon and salt method.

Bring two liters of water to the boil, then remove from the heat and add 60 ml of detergent, the juice of three lemons and a spoonful of salt.

Submerge the clothing in this solution and allow it to soak for 40 minutes. Then rinse them with plenty of water and dry them in the sun.

Hydrogen peroxide . This ingredient is also very useful in treating some types of stains and whitening laundry.

Pour 60 ml of laundry soap into two liters of water and add 60 ml of hydrogen peroxide. Soak your garment in this solution for 30 minutes and then rinse.

Baking soda and lemon . To remove the most stubborn stains, prepare a thick mixture of bicarbonate of soda and lemon. This solution also helps brighten your laundry.

Sprinkle a tablespoon of baking soda on the stain, then rub it with half a lemon. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse with plenty of warm water.
