Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Pinch of sugar
1 pound lean ground beef (85/15 or 90/10)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1/4 cup finely diced white onion
1/2 cup dill pickle slices (about 8-10 slices), halved or chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and sugar. Whisk until smooth. Cover and refrigerate while you prepare the other ingredients.
Step 2: Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it's fully browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Season generously with salt and black pepper, and stir well.
Step 3: Warm the Tortillas: Gently warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for 15-20 seconds per side, or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for 20-30 seconds, until soft and pliable.
Step 4: Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat. Spread a generous amount of the special sauce over the entire surface, leaving a small border. Layer with shredded lettuce, seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, diced white onion, and dill pickle slices.
Step 5: Roll the Wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla about 1 inch. Then, starting from the bottom edge closest to you, tightly roll the tortilla upwards, tucking in the fillings as you go, until you have a compact wrap. Slice each wrap in half diagonally. Serve immediately and enjoy your Big Mac Wraps!
Notes
For best results, allow the special sauce to chill for at least 15-20 minutes before assembling the wraps to let the flavors fully develop. These wraps are fantastic for meal prepping – simply store the components separately and assemble just before eating.
