A festive and delicious savory pull-apart bread shaped like a Christmas tree, filled with garlic, herbs, and gooey cheese. Perfect for holiday breakfasts, brunches, or appetizers.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

2 (16.3 oz) cans refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Optional: 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed, for dipping

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Separate each biscuit from the cans and cut each biscuit into quarters.
Step 4: In a large bowl, toss the quartered biscuit pieces with the herb butter mixture until well coated.
Step 5: Add the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses to the bowl. Toss gently until the cheese is evenly distributed.
Step 6: Arrange the coated biscuit pieces on the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree. Start with one piece at the top, then two below it, then three, and so on, building triangular rows. Create a small 'trunk' with 2-3 pieces at the bottom center.
Step 7: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. The cheese should be bubbly and the dough puffed.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a serving platter. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
Step 9: Serve warm with warmed marinara sauce for dipping, if using. Enjoy your festive Christmas Tree Pull-Apart Bread!

Notes

For best results, use fresh herbs. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and reheated gently. This bread is best served warm!
