Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise (high-quality, full fat)
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and sweet pickle relish. Use a whisk or a large spoon to stir until the mixture is uniform in color.
Step 2: Add the white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to the bowl. Stir vigorously to ensure the dry spices are fully incorporated into the creamy base.
Step 3: Taste the sauce and add salt and freshly cracked black pepper according to your preference. If you prefer a tangier sauce, add an extra teaspoon of pickle brine.
Step 4: Transfer the sauce to an airtight container or glass jar. For the best results, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 5: Stir once more before serving and spread generously on your favorite toasted burger buns.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce. Store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
