Putting pineapples in the oven may be a strange trick, but it’s one you’d do well to adopt. They may be used as Christmas decorations, but they can also be used to create something unexpected and useful at home. Find out what they are.
Do like everyone else and put the pineapples in the oven for 15 minutes: you will be surprised by the result!
To perform this trick, you will need a plastic bag, 3 large pineapples, vodka, white wine vinegar, essential oil, and an empty spray bottle. Once you have everything you need, follow these instructions to the letter:
Prepare a large container and place the pineapples in it;
Pour half a glass of vinegar and cold water;
Leave them for 20 minutes and rinse them under the tap to disinfect and clean them well;
Line a baking tray with kitchen paper and place the pineapples;
Turn on the oven at 80°C for about fifteen minutes or until they are dry;
Prepare the spray bottle and add 5 drops of the essential oil and the vodka of your choice;
Shake well and spray the solution over the pineapples;
Put them in a plastic bag and seal it;
Once this is done, store the bag in the drawer or in a dry place;
Wait a week for the pine cones to develop the aroma of the essential oil;
Once this time has passed, take out the scented pine cones and use them to release a pleasant fragrance throughout the house.
