Lemon is another ingredient with excellent polishing and antibacterial properties . Pour a glass into a bowl with hot water, immerse the moka pieces, leave them to soak for 5-6 hours and rinse.
Citric acid is an excellent alternative to lemon, given its whitening and disinfectant power. Dissolve 150 grams of it in a liter of water, immerse the pieces of the coffee maker, leave them to soak for 6 hours and rinse.
Grandma’s ever-present remedy is sodium bicarbonate which, in addition to cleaning, is able to absorb bad odors. Form a paste by adding a drizzle of water to the bicarbonate of soda, place the paste on a sponge, rub the mocha, put it in the water, leave it to soak overnight and rinse.
Finally we have Yellow soap, a delicate detergent capable of polishing the coffee machine to perfection . Take a small ball of product from the stick, spread it on a sponge, rub all the pieces of the coffee maker, leave to soak for 3 or 4 hours and rinse.
