Gas stove burners look like new again: that’s the mistake we all make!

 Stove burners are exposed to a lot of  “  stress     on our part. As test chefs, we strive to prepare delicious treats, but splatters of grease, sauce, and everything else    contaminate them and form crusts.

Most of us think that    putting them in the dishwasher    will make them look like new, but unfortunately that is not the case. Although this system is practical and very tiring,    it can damage its beauty.

The aluminum from which they are made loses its shine or, worse still, blackens when it comes into contact with aggressive cleaning products and deteriorates permanently, without the possibility of recovering its original appearance.

However, once the plate has been cleaned, a thorough disinfection should not be neglected. This is where our grandmother’s natural remedies and methods come to our aid.

Follow our step-by-step instructions and your burners will shine for many years to come.

Gas stove burners should be cleaned this way, but everyone does it wrong

Clean the stove burners like this.

To clean and descale the stove burners it is necessary to have:

  • 1/2 glass of white vinegar;
  • 1/2 glass of lemon juice;
  • 1 liter of water;
  • Baking powder to taste.

Put the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil   . While you wait, remove all the heat (except the one in the pan, of course) and when the time comes, turn off the gas and immerse them in the pan. Add the vinegar and lemon juice and let it infuse for an hour.  When the solution cools, take the burners one by one and use an old toothbrush to vigorously scrub the areas that are still scabby. To help, soak it in    baking soda.

Once they are shiny and like new, rinse them under running water and dry them well.

The flame diffuser, however, must be treated separately.  All you need to clean is some liquid dish soap. Or, if you prefer, in the dishwasher. In fact, the materials it is made of do not change during this wash, unlike the burners.
