Ingredients
2 liters (approx. 8.5 cups) lemon-lime soda, chilled
1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled
1 (2-liter) bottle Hawaiian Punch Green Berry Rush or similar green fruit punch, chilled
1 pint lime sherbet
Optional garnishes: maraschino cherries, lime slices, red sanding sugar
Instructions
Step 1: In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled lemon-lime soda, chilled pineapple juice, and chilled green fruit punch. Stir gently to combine without losing too much of the fizz.
Step 2: Scoop generous amounts of lime sherbet into the punch. The sherbet will float on top, creating a beautiful frothy, green, and slightly creamy layer. You can add more sherbet as needed throughout the party.
Step 3: For an extra festive touch, garnish the punch with maraschino cherries (to represent the Grinch's heart, of course!) and fresh lime slices.
Step 4: Serve immediately into individual glasses. For an extra festive rim, wet the rim of each serving glass and dip it into red sanding sugar before pouring the Grinch Punch. Enjoy your merry concoction!
Notes
For the best fizz and frothy topping, add the lime sherbet just before serving. If making for a large crowd, keep additional ingredients chilled and replenish the punch bowl as needed. The flavors will be best when served cold.
