Seife in Marseille
When we talk about fragrant ingredients, we cannot ignore Marseille soap, known precisely for its intoxicating smell. Simply place 3 tablespoons of grated Marseille soap in a bowl and add 4 drops of an essential oil of your choice.
Then fill a bucket with very hot water, pour in the soap and essential oil mixture and wait for it to dissolve. At this point you just need to be careful not to scald yourself. Simply pour the water from the bucket into the shower siphon and leave it overnight without turning on the water: the next day you will notice a fresh scent all over your body. Bathroom!
lemon
Another ingredient known for its intoxicating scent and capable of eliminating all bad smells in the bathroom is lemon, a citrus fruit with many properties! In this case, let’s look at the lemon cap method, which is easy and quick to implement! Ingredients :
1 lemon (quite large)
2 tablespoons baking powder
500 ml water
Lemon essential oil
First, put the water in a pot and heat it over low heat until it boils. Then wait a bit and dissolve the baking soda in the water until mixed.
Next, cut a lemon slice from the center to make it wider and pour the juice from the remaining lemon into the baking soda and water solution. Now simply place the lemon slice on the cork and then pour the solution of water, lemon juice and baking soda over it.
Citrus fruits
In addition to the lemon hat method, this citrus fruit, like the orange, can also be used alternatively.
Fill a small pot with water, add the orange and lemon slices and bring to a boil. Then strain the mixture through a sieve, remove the slices and pour the solution into the sink.
White wine vinegar
In addition to scenting the shower pipes, it is particularly important to remove any dirt that causes unpleasant odors. For this we recommend using vinegar, which helps to deodorize and descale limescale and dirt blocks.
So fill a bucket with very hot water and pour in 1 ½ cups of vinegar and 6/7 drops of essential oil of the perfume you prefer most to obtain a fragrant mixture. Now pour the mixture down the shower drain and let it sit for hours.
citric acid
Like vinegar, citric acid is also able to deodorize and dissolve dirt and limescale. It is also used in the washing machine to remove the hidden dirt.
So simply add 1 tablespoon of citric acid to the shower siphon, leave it to work overnight and turn on the water to clean the next day: the smell is no longer a problem!
Backpulver
Pour 1½ tablespoons of baking soda down the shower drain and leave it overnight. The next day, pour a bucket of hot water down the drain.
