How to clean radiators thoroughly to increase their effectiveness

Radiators are real lifesavers during the winter. They keep our homes warm and guarantee us a comfortable and restorative rest. However, these fundamental tools must be looked after and maintained well so that they can last a long time and maintain their effectiveness.×165&!2&btvi=1&fsb=1&dtd=25262

Removing dust and dirt from radiators , as well as being healthy, is also a way to ensure that they can work at their best and heat the whole house.

Before starting, we remind you that if the radiator you need to clean is electric, you must make sure you unplug it.

Start by removing all the external dust that has accumulated on the radiators. To do this, use a vacuum cleaner or dust catcher.

To remove dust that settles between the cracks in the radiator, use a vacuum cleaner with a head thin enough to fit between the cracks.

Another equally effective DIY method is to use a stick, on the end of which a microfibre cloth is fixed. Insert the stick between the slots in the radiator and make sure to remove all the dust.

Once the dust has been removed, soak a cloth in a solution composed of water, vinegar and bicarbonate and make sure to pass it over the entire surface of the radiator. This operation will allow us to remove the most stubborn dirt and any dust mites.

Now that you know how to clean the radiator and eliminate all the dust , do it now to feel the difference.
