How to naturally get rid of pesticides from fruits and vegetables

The fruits and vegetables we eat every day can be overloaded with chemicals and pesticides. It is extremely important to remove them, as they can have serious consequences for our health.

Pesticides are almost always herbicides, fungicides and insecticides, which farmers apply to produce to make it more profitable. These substances harm our bodies as carcinogens and endocrine disruptors, which affect the development and growth of children, cause infertility and damage the nervous system and brain.

Remember to wash the fruit well, even just with water: although it is not 100% effective, it can remove pesticide residues from the surface, eliminating toxic substances.

Use a toothbrush to remove even more residue. Do not wash fruits and vegetables before storing them, as they may spoil more quickly.
