A homemade floor cleaner is all you need to save money, time, and hassle. In this article we tell you how to prepare one that, in addition to cleaning the floor thoroughly and whitening the joints , is also completely ecological and safe for our health.
The homemade cleaner works on many different types of floors, except marble, stone or granite. Baking soda, one of the ingredients in detergent, has a slight abrasive action that could damage them even irreversibly.
The homemade detergent recipe that we offer you below is also useful for preparing a multi-purpose cleaner : try using it to clean other types of surfaces, such as those in the bathroom or kitchen.
To prepare natural laundry detergent you need:
- One lemon’s juice
- 250 ml of warm water
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
Mix the three ingredients well until they are perfectly combined. Then spray on the desired surface, in our case the floor.
Let the solution sit for about 5 minutes, then scrub with a toothbrush and rinse with clean water.
You will notice that the joints will be very white , all the dirt and grease will have disappeared and that once the floor has been rinsed it will no longer have marks .
All this without spending too much and above all protecting our health and the environment.
