Finding an effective stain remover is no easy task. For example, you risk spending a lot of money on a product that is worthless and does not remove annoying stains from our clothes.
It is precisely for this reason that it is important to read and know the properties of organic ingredients that can help us eliminate excessive stains, sanitizing our clothes. Here’s a stain remover you can make at home with just 3 ingredients.
Use These 3 Ingredients for a Super Powerful Stain Remover
Hydrogen peroxide is simply water with an extra oxygen molecule. This extra oxygen molecule causes oxidation, which helps kill germs and bleach colors from porous surfaces such as textiles.

When it comes to using hydrogen peroxide for home use, choose medical-grade peroxide, which is 3% peroxide and 97% water. It is commonly found at the supermarket emergency department or local pharmacy.
Dishwashing liquid
When it comes to dish soap (i.e. dish soap ), you can choose whatever you have at home. However, if you’re looking for a non-toxic dish soap, be sure to use one that is biodegradable and free of parabens and phthalates, as the latter two are endocrine disruptors that could affect hormones.

Baking soda
Baking soda is also known as baking soda. It’s a fantastic cleaning product, as it acts as a natural whitener that can help remove tougher stains from clothing. Baking soda is easily found in the baking aisle of grocery stores.
Create a paste by mixing liquids (hydrogen peroxide and dish soap) with enough baking soda to make a fluid paste. Use immediately.
The general rule when mixing liquids is to use 1 part dish soap to 2 parts hydrogen peroxide. For example, if you use 1 tablespoon of dish soap, mix in 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Then add enough baking soda to form a stringy paste.
If you decide to make a large batch of stain remover, mix only hydrogen peroxide and dish soap and store it in a glass bottle. Note: Do not add baking soda at this stage. Use within 3 months.
Once the stain remover is needed, shake the bottle well, then pour the mixture into a small container. Mix enough baking soda to create a stringy paste, then immediately apply to the garment (inside and out).
For minor stains, you can simply use dish soap and hydrogen peroxide in a small spray bottle. Shake well and spray directly onto clothing until wet. Let it soak for at least 10 to 15 minutes before putting the clothes in the washing machine to wash them.
For more stubborn stains, you should add baking soda to create a paste. You can also use a brush or an old toothbrush to lightly scrub it. Leave the paste on the garment for up to an hour before washing the clothes in the washing machine as usual.
You can spread the paste on the stain using the back of a spoon. Don’t forget to spread the paste on the back (or inside of the garment) where the stain is also located.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide are natural bleaching agents. Therefore, if you are using this stain remover on dark clothing, test it on a small area first.
