Ingredients

2.5 cups all-purpose flour
1.5 cups granulated sugar

1 cup room temperature buttermilk
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 tablespoons red food coloring
1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
16 oz cream cheese, softened
0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans for your Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
