How often do we have to battle stubborn stains on the clothes we love most? But there are solutions available to everyone.
Stains on clothes
Putting them in the washing machine several times is useless, there are methods that allow us to remove them in the blink of an eye, let’s find out what product it is.
Stubborn stains on clothes
Ending up with stained clothes is very easy, discovering them on our children’s clothes is a habit. Sometimes we get discouraged. But taking it to the laundry every week becomes an unbearable expense.
When you wash a stained item of clothing the wrong way, the stain may be difficult to remove, even by specialists in the field.
So all we have to do is replace the item of clothing that is now unusable or start treating the stain with specific products , but that we have at home.
We also need to understand that just like stains come in different types, there are also different ways to treat them.
A man stains his shirt
Chocolate Stains – To get rid of a chocolate stain on white clothing, it is extremely important to clean it thoroughly to avoid spreading or repairing the stain.
If it is a delicate white garment we can use sparkling water , for example. All you have to do is pour soda water over the stain, let it sit for about 20 minutes, then gently wipe the stain with a clean cloth.
Lemon juice
Then we can finish washing the garment by hand or in the washing machine.
Lemon juice can also be helpful . For example, you can rub the chocolate with a little lemon juice before putting it in the washing machine. Another option is to apply equal parts ammonia and alcohol and apply to the chocolate stain.
Stains on dark clothes
If clothes are dark, they are likely to fade, so they should be treated with products that do not “kill the color .”
This means that you should not use bleach or active oxygen stain removers on them . The best way to remove a chocolate stain from dark or black clothing is to pretreat the stain with a solution of liquid ammonia and water.
Stubborn stains on clothes
For example, you can add 10 ml of ammonia to two cups of water, put in a basin of water, then insert the affected part of the clothing or insert it completely. The ammonia will not only remove the stain, but it will also remove the bad odor from the garment (if any).
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide
The problem worsens when stains appear on clothes that we cannot put in the washing machine, such as mattresses.
If the mattresses turn a different color in certain areas over time, or if liquid has gotten on them, a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide will be perfect.
Bicarbonate
To prepare this solution, simply put a few tablespoons of baking soda with 4% hydrogen peroxide in a bowl and mix. Then pour everything into a dispenser with the spray.
This mixture must be sprayed on the parts to be treated and left to act for 2 hours, then the room is ventilated and you will notice that the stain disappears.
White vinegar
White vinegar is one of the products that we all have at home and which is constantly used for different cleaning and hygiene solutions. In this case it will be useful if our dear carpet runs out of beer.
What to do ? In a very simple way, just give a little white vinegar mixed with a cup of water , then you will have to rub the carpet with the mixture with a clean sponge and remove it with a microfiber cloth and cold water .
