Ingredients
24 round gyoza or wonton wrappers
1/2 lb ground chicken or pork
1 cup finely shredded cabbage
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, freshly grated
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
1–2 tbsp Thai red curry paste
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp lime juice
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the ground meat, cabbage, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix gently until just combined.
Step 3: Lay out a few wrappers. Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each. Lightly moisten the edges with water, fold in half, and press to seal. Optionally, create small pleats along the edge.
Step 4: Arrange the potstickers on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush or spray them with a small amount of oil.
Step 5: Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
Step 6: While potstickers bake, whisk together the coconut milk, red curry paste, and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Step 7: Remove sauce from heat and stir in the lime juice. Serve the warm Baked Potstickers With Thai Curry Sauce immediately with the sauce for dipping or drizzling.
Notes
Ensure the cabbage is very finely shredded or even pulsed in a food processor to ensure even cooking inside the wrapper.
