Boiling wooden sticks: it will get you hooked

Winter hasn’t arrived yet and we can still afford a few ice creams. Once eaten, we tend to throw away the wooden sticks, which can however be transformed into something useful or decorative.

This recycling hack can easily become a fun and lucrative activity to do with the kids. Here we explain how to do it:

Prepare 12 wooden sticks and put them in a saucepan with boiling water;
Let them soak for 1 hour to soften them without breaking them;
Once the time has passed, place them in a small glass bent to fit the shape of its handle;
Let dry in the sun for a whole day;
Prepare decorative elements such as stickers and paint;
Unleash your creativity and decorate the bracelets.
How to make a frame with these scraps?

This is a really easy creative recycling trick, because all you have to do is glue the sticks together to create a square in which you will place the photo. Don’t forget to decorate your frame as you see fit.

The list is not exhaustive. You can also make pencil holders, jewelry boxes, and Christmas decorations with wooden sticks.
