Ingredients
3 cups All-purpose flour
2 cups Granulated sugar
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
4 Large eggs
1 cup Whole milk
2 teaspoons Pure vanilla bean paste
1/2 cup Sour cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 8-inch cake pans.
Cream butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla bean paste and sour cream.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, starting and ending with flour.
Divide batter evenly between pans and smooth the tops.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
