The brilliant trick for always scented drawers and wardrobes

You have the secret ingredient that will solve the problem in your pantry and you certainly use it often to season meat, fish or potatoes. We’re talking about rosemary . This aromatic herb is effective in removing musty and musty smells from drawers and cupboards thanks to its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Its fresh, aromatic aroma helps neutralize unwanted odors, leaving clothes pleasantly scented.

To use this trick, start by gathering some rosemary sprigs and cut them all to the same length. At this point you need to let them dry. You can hang them in a dry place, away from the sun’s rays which would turn the leaves yellow. Let them dry for two weeks , turning them every 2 or 3 days. Alternatively you can dry them in the oven. Place them on a baking tray and bake at 60 degrees for 2 or 3 hours.

Once dried you can prepare your scented sachets . Take some cotton or nylon bags , fill them with rosemary sprigs, perhaps add a few drops of rosemary essential oil to intensify the aroma, close them well and put them in drawers or hang them in wardrobes.

If you don’t have a rosemary plant, no problem, you can use other aromatic plants such as sage and bay leaves and follow the same procedure we showed you previously.

Using herbs to keep drawers and cabinets smelling fresh is a natural and effective way to keep indoor spaces fresh and pleasant. Aromatic herbs not only spread a pleasant scent, but they also have antifungal and antibacterial properties that help prevent the formation of bad odors.
