More experienced cooks are probably familiar with this method of preserving garlic. First, take half a kilo of garlic cloves and soak them in  warm water for about an hour  . After drying them, peel them and you will see that they peel easily because the peel has become softer.

Next, place all the garlic cloves in a sterilized jar. Then add two tablespoons of coarse salt, it should be about 30 grams of salt. Now you can add a few spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar or, if you wish, add wine vinegar. This ingredient helps  keep the garlic intact.

Finally, bring some water to the boil and let it cool. Before closing the container with the lid, cut a  slice of lemon  and place it on top of the garlic. Seal the jar very tightly and shake to mix all the ingredients.

This will keep your garlic cloves in perfect condition for over a year and prevent them from rotting. In addition, you can consume them at any time without having to peel them every time you want to use them. This method is used by many chefs  , it is practical and, above all, effective.
