HOW TO REMOVE THE SMELL OF SWEAT THAT STAYS ON CLOTHES EVEN AFTER THE WASHING MACHINE

You’ve just washed your shirts in the washing machine  , but you still notice an  unpleasant smell of sweat  that just won’t go away.

Unfortunately,  sometimes sweat tends to penetrate so much, especially in the  underarm area  , that clothes smell even  after we have washed them.

And how does it work? Very simple  , just try these tricks  , let’s find out together!

What will you discover?

Vinegar

If there’s one food ingredient known for its odor-fighting properties, it’s vinegar  , which also  has cleaning and degreasing properties  . So all you have to do is  pour a glass of vinegar into a bowl  of water and then soak the garment for about an hour.

Alternatively, you can   pour two tablespoons of white vinegar   directly onto the area on your head where the smell of sweat is concentrated and   leave it on for about 20 minutes.

After that, all you have to do is wash it in the washing machine  and… bye, it smells like sweat!

Note:   There seems to be a long debate about whether vinegar could have an environmentally harmful effect. In any case, it is always preferable to commercial detergents.

Natriumbicarbonat

Like vinegar,  baking soda is known for its ability to neutralize bad odors.  Not surprisingly,  it is used in the refrigerator to eliminate the smell emanating from food.

Therefore, it is enough if you make a bicarbonate paste by   mixing three tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate   with water and then rubbing it into the area of the head  where you feel the bad smell most.

Now leave it   on for a few hours   or   overnight  before continuing with the usual hand or washing machine wash.

Salt

Another ingredient in the pantry that has very effective absorbent properties is salt  ,  which is a godsend not only for absorbing bad smells   , but also against excessive humidity in the house!

Then add half a cup of salt  to a bowl of warm water and mix. Then pour the resulting mixture into the area of the head where the smell is concentrated and  leave for about an hour.  Finally, wash the garment in the washing machine or by hand  and enjoy the magic!

lemon

While vinegar, baking soda, and salt only help absorb bad odors,  lemon also  helps  you smell good. In fact, this citrus fruit is loved precisely for its natural, intoxicating smell, which   brings a touch of freshness even in the bathroom, an environment where bad smells usually prevail!

Then add  the juice of three squeezed lemons   to a bowl of cold water, submerge the garment and let it soak for about half an hour. At this point, rinse it off and  the smell of sweat will just be a bad memory!

Note:   We recommend that you do not use this product on dark clothing as the lightening effect of lemon could discolor it.

Rosemary

Aromatic herbs are also   able to quickly and easily remove the smell from clothes. Let’s talk about  rosemary  , which  also has degreasing and cleansing properties.

Therefore, pour a few  sprigs of rosemary into a basin of hot water  and let your sweat-smelling clothes   soak in it for a few hours.    Then rub the area of your head that smells of sweat with the   rosemary sprigs   and continue washing together. And voilà –  the smell disappears in no time!
