How to wash aluminum bottles to eliminate bad odors

Reusable aluminum bottles  are very convenient, they can be taken anywhere and they always keep the water fresh. However, it is important to know how to clean them properly to prevent them from becoming a receptacle for bacteria and germs, and from giving off a bad odor.

If you use them so frequently, you will surely have noticed that   aluminum bottles sometimes give off a bad   , almost musty smell. Fortunately, it is possible to eliminate it without resorting to industrial products containing chemicals.

Although it is possible (and a good idea)   to wash aluminum water bottles   with dish soap, sometimes this cleaning is not enough to eliminate the bad smell.

To   properly wash aluminum bottles   and eliminate the bacteria that cause bad odors, it is necessary to use some disinfectant ingredient, and in this case we will rely on vinegar.

Mix two parts water and one part vinegar and pour into a water bottle. Shake well, close the jar, and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes. Then open the bottle and leave the solution overnight.

The next morning, rinse the bottle thoroughly with cold water, then pour in two tablespoons of baking soda and a little water. This is to further clean the bottle and make sure we remove any residue.

Use a bottle brush to clean the inside of the bottle. Scrub well to help remove all dirt, then rinse again and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.

This operation does not have to be done every day, but it is good to do it periodically to avoid the appearance of bad odors in your aluminum bottle.
