Recently my husband and I visited my mother-in-law, we drank tea, watched our favorite TV series and decided to go for a walk in the park, the weather was good. We had already all gathered together when suddenly my mother-in-law “disappeared” in the bathroom. A few minutes later she came out and we went for a walk. When I got home I went into the toilet and saw that it was shining like a diamond. This really surprised me and I decided to ask her how she came to such a conclusion in just five minutes. She shared her secret with me. Now I only clean my toilet this way, household chemicals are no longer needed.
I mixed equal amounts of baking soda and salt and poured a handful onto the inside of the toilet, pressing down on the flush first so the mixture would “stick” well. I leave the whole thing for two or three hours, sometimes even overnight, then I just go over it with a brush and there is no trace of the plaque and unpleasant smell left!

And I don’t forget the waste water tank, it needs to be cleaned too. It’s easy to do: I dilute citric acid in a glass of water and pour it into the tank. An hour later I press the flush button and everything is shiny.
