Orchids, petunias, roses, geraniums and many other plants will bloom non-stop

What do plants like orchids, petunias, roses and geraniums have in common? If we want them to bloom, we must feed and water them properly.

Make your flowers bloom

Although they are plants with different needs in terms of light, water and nutrients, there are some general tips that can help you always have flowering plants.

Spring is an ideal season to grow many plants. Some plants that can be considered for spring growth are annuals.

In fact, it is possible to grow annual flowers such as  petunias, begonias, impatiens and marigolds. They are easy-to-grow plants that  produce striking, colorful flowers.

Many perennials also bloom in spring, such as lilies, daffodils, and tulips. These plants  will bloom every year  and can create colorful and inviting gardens.

Even plant fruit trees if you have enough space, and spring is the ideal time to plant these trees, so they can establish themselves well before summer.

Spring is also  a good time to plant herbs  such as basil, mint, rosemary, and thyme. These plants can be grown in pots or in the garden and are ideal for adding flavor to your dishes.

It should be remembered that  plants have specific needs  in terms of light, water and nutrients, so be sure to choose plants that are suitable for your climate and growing area, and follow specific care instructions for each plant you choose to grow.

Pruning is very important so it is good to remove wilted flowers and dead parts of the plants to  encourage continued flowering.

Plants should be  fertilized regularly  with a balanced fertilizer for flowering plants. In general, petunias, geraniums and roses require fertilizers with high potassium content to promote flowering, while orchids require a specific fertilizer for epiphytic plants (that do not root in the soil).

How to make them bloom non-stop

Let’s see how  you can encourage the active growth and lush flowering  of garden flowers, such as petunia roses for geraniums and violets and other plants.

Make sure  the plants receive enough sunlight  . Most of these plants need at least 6 hours of direct light per day. Roses also require good morning sun exposure.

By providing “  top dressing  ,” we give plants nitrogen for   lush foliage  growth and phosphorus  for root growth and development. As well as  potassium  for active buds and lush flowering, as well as many  micronutrients and other nutrients.

Also, avoid watering too much or too little. Check soil moisture regularly and water only when the soil surface feels dry to the touch. In general, petunias, geraniums, and roses need  regular watering,  while orchids require a more specific watering regimen.

With  top dressing,  you will help restore even fragile and yellowed flowers, as well as provide them with more lush growth.

To make this dressing we need oats, to do this we take  half a glass of rolled oats  and pour it into a one-liter jar.

We fill it to the top with warm water and  let it rest for two or three days  . The solution is then filtered and diluted with water to the extent of 1 liquid to 4 water, finally  it is administered to the roots of the plants.

If you want to feed the flowers in the garden, you can prepare a solution made with 10 liters of water,  with a cup of oats  . It is then left to infuse for three days, stirring each time, and then this water is used to water the plants.
There is no need to infiltrate the solution, just pour more soil on top.
