If you have any jewelry items Pandora at home, you will certainly have seen them blacken. This happens because the material in contact with external agents, sweat, the skin itself, tends to oxidize over time. Today we’ll see some tricks to make them shiny again.
The first natural remedy we are going to use isvinegar. Fill a bowl with hot water and pour a glass of vinegar into it. Mix and pour the jewelery to be polished inside. Leave to act for a few hours and rub with a woolen cloth.
Another useful remedy is sodium bicarbonate. Pour 3 tablespoons of baking soda into a bowl, mix and immerse the Pandora bracelet and the other jewellery. Leave it on overnight and rinse.
Citric acid: Citric acid is another effective natural remedy for cleaning and polishing tarnished costume jewelry. Mix one part citric acid with three parts warm water in a bowl. Immerse the Pandora bracelet and the blackened costume jewelry in the solution and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Afterwards, rinse well with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth. Citric acid will help dissolve dirt and patina from the surface of the jewelry, restoring its natural shine.
Water and salt: water and salt are an effective natural remedy for cleaning of blackened costume jewellery. Dissolve a cup of salt in a cup of hot water. Immerse the costume jewelery in the solution and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Then rub and rinse.
Towel and Marseille soap or white vinegar to polish Pandora bracelets
This remedy is not among the best known, although it is absolutely worth trying. Wet a towel and rub one side of it with Marseille soap. Place the Pandora bracelet and other objects to be cleaned in the towel, close and apply light pressure.
Leave it on for a few hours and rinse. Following the same procedure you can also use white vinegar instead of soap.
