If the  yellow stains  appear to be embedded in the surface of the toilet bowl, you can always repair them with effective solutions, the ingredients of which are likely to be found in your home. For stubborn stains and discolorations such as yellowed surfaces, we often think of bleach. However, it is not the ideal choice because in addition to presenting a health risk, its use always requires effort to achieve a perfect result.

This is the ultimate solution

Instead of bleach, use  baking soda  , which is safer and has great cleaning and antibacterial powers. As for makeup, it will be done in stages so that it gives the best results.

Start by mixing half a cup of baking soda with a little water to form a paste. Spread the paste on the toilet seat. Let  sit for  5 to 10 minutes. Next, use a damp cloth or scrubbing pad and scrub the seat to loosen dirt and remove stains.

Bicarbonate de sodium

Use a   non-scratching sponge or a clean toilet brush and scrub, preferably in circular motions. This action, combined with a good washing tool, facilitates the penetration of the disinfectant product. Then rinse with a damp cloth and then reapply the baking soda paste to the stained area as many times as possible, at least until the stain disappears.

Then rinse  with clean water and wipe the seat with a dry cloth. You can also apply this tip  using a spray bottle  , you can put 1 liter of water for two tablespoons of baking soda. Shake the bottle and apply it following the same steps mentioned above. After a few repetitions, the surface of your seat should have returned to its normal shine.

Baking soda is a safe,  inexpensive product  and has been used as a cleaning and whitening product for decades. It has a powerful ability to effectively and economically whiten surfaces of different types. We absolutely recommend its use if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on household cleaning products.
