Take the basil leaves, wash them and dry them with a soft cloth. Then you need to freeze them.
To do this take a jar and put some salt, a few basil leaves in it and cover it with oil. The jar will need to be filled to the brim before putting it in the freezer.
After washing the plant, peel off each leaf and let it dry on a dish towel. Place them all on a tray or aluminum foil and put them in the freezer.
