Tip to REMOVE MOLD from silicone in the bathroom

Mold is a microscopic organism that multiplies easily under the right conditions: high humidity, condensation, water… The same conditions that occur in the bathroom of our homes.

Recognizing mold is very simple: it appears as black spots on tiles, curtains and silicone seals in the shower. Although there are chemical products that can eliminate mold in an instant, it is always good to know natural, non-toxic and harmful alternatives to health and bathroom materials.

Silicone is certainly not easy to clean due to its consistency, which among other things allows for easy mold growth.

How to remove mold from silicone in the bathroom in 30 minutes

Fill a spray bottle with a solution of 200 ml white vinegar and 3 tablespoons baking soda. Shake well without closing the bottle and wait for the effervescent reaction to finish.

Spray the vinegar and baking soda solution directly onto the silicone. For an even stronger effect, pour more baking soda over the surface.

Wait about 30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

If possible, in the meantime you can use an old toothbrush to get rid of the mold. Don’t force too much, the bristles could damage the silicone.
