3 natural methods to remove limescale from the toilet and make it shine

Cleaning the house is not a pleasant task for most of us, and cleaning the bathroom is even more heinous. Nevertheless, it must be done because it is one of the areas of the house that gets dirty the most and  accumulates mold, bacteria and limescale  .

In this article  , we suggest three effective methods to thoroughly clean the toilet  , remove mold and limescale and make it look like new. These are completely natural methods that not only save us money, but also protect our health and the environment.

Two types of bacteria accumulate in the toilet: Salmonella and E. coli. But there are countless micrococci, staphylococci and streptococci that can be present on toilet surfaces and throughout the bathroom.

Baking soda and vinegar  . Pour 200 ml of white vinegar directly into the toilet and another 200 ml into the cistern.

Put some baking soda on the inside rim of the toilet and wait about an hour for both ingredients to take effect. Thoroughly scrub the interior surfaces of the toilet with a toilet brush, then wait another 15 minutes before flushing.

Tea tree oil  . Pour 500ml of water and 10 drops of tea tree oil into a spray diffuser bottle.

Spray directly onto the mold and all edges of the toilet, leave for 10 minutes, then scrub with the toilet brush and then flush.

Hydrogen peroxide  . Spray directly onto the mold and leave to act for 15-30 minutes. Clean thoroughly with a toilet brush and then rinse to remove any residue.

Now that you know how to  clean the toilet without the use of chemicals  , clean it at least once a week to  always keep it spotless and prevent mold from forming  .
