Provide lasting freshness cheaply: a toilet that always smells good!
Do you want a toilet that always smells good? This is not an impossible wish! You only have to know how. Cleaning the toilet – one of the most unpleasant tasks in the household. But still, it’s part of it. But what if we told you that you only have to clean your toilet thoroughly once and then only use one trick to keep it pleasantly fresh and clean? So why make life difficult when it can be much easier. This recipe is simple and the ingredients are easily available or you probably already have them at home.
Quickly homemade toilet cleaner against odors and dirt.
You need this:
- 160 grams of baking soda
- 60 ml lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide (3%), from the pharmacy
- 15-20 drops of fragrance oil (for example lavender or lemon)

This is what you have to do:
- Mix the lemon juice and baking soda in a bowl.
- Add the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide to another bowl.
- Now mix the contents of both bowls into a larger bowl.
- Add the fragrance oil (essential oil).
And that is how it works:
- Take small balls of the mixture you have just created in your hands.
- Shape them into hemispheres and let them dry on baking paper.
- Wait at least 3-4 hours. Overnight would be best to allow them to dry completely.
- Take the hemispheres from the baking paper and place them in a glass container (as shown in the photo).
- Now place this glass next to your toilet. Apply if necessary.
So if you feel like your toilet could use a refresh, simply throw a hemisphere into the toilet and flush it down. Of course, the first time isn’t always easy, but the production will always go faster – we promise. Thanks to this mixture, you have a toilet that always smells good – for days.
